Several months ago a popular product left the Coop shelves. Healthy Korner provided us with "vegetarian chicken" & "vegetarian turkey" (in both sandwich and salad form) until the company liquidated itself so that the owners could part ways. Now one of the former Healthy Korner partners has founded a new company, Nature Boy Foods, and he has developed new and improved versions of the beloved veg chicken, veg turkey, and spicy tofu. Best of all, he is custom making packs of vegetarian turkey slices just for the Coop.
Look for the logo of a smiling Nature Boy face in the Prepared Food Case and the Dairy Cooler...
