Spring is here! We have seeds from three companies. Small packets of vegetable and herb seeds from Vermont-based Artistic Gardens are all $.25! The larger white packages of vegetable and herb seeds are from the Maine-based worker coop FEDCO; they are priced as marked. The colorful packages are from Seed Savers Exchange (mostly flowers), most packages are $1.80.
All seeds are either stored above the bagged potatoes in racks or above the onions and potatoes in trays. There are green planting guides hanging by the trays of herbs and for more plant care info try the Cornell Cooperative Extension website at http://www.gardening.cornell.edu/
Also there is an interesting article in the NYtimes about seeds http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/24/garden/24seeds.html?emc=eta1
